Gordie Howe Bridge Construction Close Up Video In Detroit, Michigan 4K
Construction crew and bridge engineers constructing the Gordie Howe International Bridge in Detroit, Michigan. The Gordie Howe International Bridge is a six lane bridge with a width that accommodates future expansion to eight lanes, while still including a pedestrian trail. It will be the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America and will also set the world record for longest composite steel and concrete cable-stayed bridge deck in the world. The project is a major infrastructure project that will span the Detroit River, connecting Detroit, Michigan, in the United States, with Windsor, Ontario, in Canada. Named after the legendary Canadian ice hockey player Gordie Howe, who spent much of his career with the Detroit Red Wings, the bridge is expected to provide a much-needed additional crossing between the two countries. It's designed to accommodate increased trade and traffic flow, as well as improve the efficiency and reliability of transportation between the United States and Canada. Construction on the bridge began in 2018, and it's slated to be completed in 2025. Survol du site du pont américan.
