Check Your Charging System On Your Motorcycle

Step-by-step process of checking your motorcycle’s charging system. While I’m using a 2012 Harley Sportster for this demonstration, the procedure is very similar for most bikes out there. All you need is a basic digital voltmeter and a bit of patience. I’ll show you how to use the voltmeter to test your bike’s battery voltage, stator, and regulator to ensure everything is charging as it should. If you’re having issues with your charging system or just want to check that everything is in good working order, this video will help you diagnose the problem.
