Thumbprint Cookies_ Cookie Baking Extravaganza Series

Hello friends, We have another Christmas cookie baking episode. These thumprint cookies with jam are super simple, and super delicious. They simply melt in your mouth! Ingredients: 230g (1 cup) unsalted butter softened 130g (2/3 cup) granulated sugar plus 3 tablespoons for rolling the cookies 2 large egg yolks at room temperature 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon salt 290g (2 and 1/3 cups ) all-purpose flour 1/2 cup strawberry or apricot jam (I used strawberry) Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 12-14 minutes or until the cookies are set and the bottoms are lightly browned.
