ExxonMobil Protest: Arrest Exxon! 05/28/2014

Watch as this video injects some fun and jocularity into a very serious situation of corporate exploitation of the masses. The Pink Posse confronts and arrests the "Corporate Criminals" as they make an acapella plea to "Save the Status Quo". Protesters demonstrated across the street from the Meyerson Symphony Center at 2301 Flora St., in Dallas. We are calling upon ExxonMobil to take responsibility for the consequences of their pursuit of profits regardless of the costs. The consequences of ExxonMobil's exploits have been borne by the average citizens in numerous countries around the globe and the United States. Call on ExxonMobil to set a new standard of business practices. WHY? In solidarity with the Global Climate Convergence's call for environmental justice, economic/political democracy and a livable planet for our children and future generations, as well as demanding the end of a fossil fuel based economy which is destroying both our planet and democracy, activists/citizens from all quarters will be coming to Dallas, May 28th, to call for a "citizens arrest" of ExxonMobil and its corporate leaders for their crimes against humanity and the planet. Fossil fuel companies must be held accountable for raping the resources of other nations, killing communities and their environments in the pursuit of profits, and undermining democracy worldwide by corrupting government leaders into allowing them to have "carte blanche" in accessing oil and gas resources. They must answer for the sickness and death caused worldwide through environmental contamination and overt violence and for the destruction of the Earth's biosphere and the hope of a livable future.
