5 Overrated Fragrances in my Collection—Don’t Fall for the Hype! Are you tired of the hype around some perfumes that don’t live up to expectations? I’ll also suggest better, easier-to-wear perfumes that smell great and offer good value for money. Perfumes I Talk About: Khadlaj Shiyaka Shadow – It’s very similar to Dior Sauvage clones and tries to copy Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Cobalt Blue Electrique, but the original Dior Sauvage is more versatile. Khadlaj Island – Hype says it’s a great tropical summer scent, but the coconut note doesn’t work well in Indian weather. Also, its price dropped quickly after people lost interest. Rasasi Hawas Black – People hype it, but it’s a less wearable version of Nishane Hacivat. I recommend going for the original Hacivat or Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense instead. Nautica Voyage – Low projection and lasts very short. There are better fresh scents like Titan Skinn Raw or Maison Alhambra Yeah Man that give you more value. Afnan 9pm Rebel – This sweet, dense scent is like a mix of Creed Aventus and Baccarat Rouge 540, but newer perfumes like Ababel Old Money and Vivian Luxury Citrus Breeze make it less special now.
