Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin Platinum Trophy Guide Part 5. 9/38 Trophies unlocked

THE PIT/ GRAVE OF SAINTS/ THE GUTTER/ BLACK GULCH LUCATIEL EXPLAINED IN GREAT DETAIL FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE UNSURE: You must beat 3 bosses with her alive at the end for the trophy. There are 4 bosses in the game you can fight with lucatiel. Lucatiel has 3 lives. If she dies during a boss fight and you beat the boss while shes dead she loses a life. If she dies during a boss fight and you quit out without beating the boss she does not lose a life. If she dies and you die too and the boss is still alive she does not lose a life. If you accidentally beat the boss and she dies then don't worry she will still have 2 lives left and there is still another 3 bosses to beat with her because there are 4 altogether. The hardest boss to keep her alive on is the rotten. The other 3 bosses its actually really hard for her to die she usually has half her health left when you beat the boss. So if you are having trouble keeping her alive on the rotten yes she will lose a life if you beat the rotten but there are still 3 easier bosses left you can fight with her where she doesnt die. But I still reccomend you try to keep her alive for the rotten just to avoid any bugs with the trophy. So just keep quitting out if she dies and start the boss again. You can use bonfire ascetics to beat the same boss 3 times but I do not reccomend that because bonfire ascetics boost the game to new game + so its harder to keep her alive.
