(Music copyright Ben Walther; all arranging decisions are my own.) ---- Hi all, I got sick a little less than a week ago, and while I'm mostly doing well, my singing voice has not yet fully recovered. Fortunately, I've been at this #psalmschallenge long enough (and this weekend's setting is common enough) that I had a recording from before where the setting and text exactly match this weekend's Psalm. It's clear that God wanted me to draw on that recording from a year and a half ago, and rest my voice, so I can get ready for my return to live ministry. I decided to revamp the older recording by adding the text into the video, so it would be easy to find for this coming weekend (OT27C). Enjoy this recording from the archives --- hope it helps with your ministry! Oh, and just like I say every time I upload this Psalm setting... The different transitions from the refrain to the verses can get a bit confusing when you first learn this one (they definitely confused me on my first go). If you're getting ready to sing this one at church, really focus on the cues going into each of the verses. Count into the verses (or track the chord changes) and see how the second verse has a different start vs. the first and third verses. I hope that helps!
