I Knew I Love (사랑하게 될 줄 알았어) - Hospital Playlist OST Jeon Mi Do - Cover by Rich Abante Moats

My favorite K-drama so far is probably Hospital Playlist. It's a medical drama involving 5 doctors that have been friends since med school. Aside from saving lives, they also formed a band...and no, that is not considered music therapy (Music Therapy is a specific profession with board-certified music therapists - email me and ask me about this if you're interested). Hospital Playlist's Season 1 OST mostly consists of the songs that the 5 friends perform in their house band. Even though the songs are all in korean, the music gives major throwback feels to 90s pop/ballads - which are totally my jam. This song is featured in the last 2 episodes of Season 1 and drives home the Ik-Song story line, which is my favorite out of all the subplots. Needless to say, this song stuck with me. It was actually the first korean song that I started to listen to and learn. Jeon Mi Do who is Songhwa in the show sings this in the soundtrack. She is an accomplished singer and musical theater actor. Special thanks to my friend, Deborah Kang, for coaching me on the pronunciation!
