On a dazzling "Sunday Funday" on October 15th, 2023, Susan and I met at Aruba Beach Café, a tropical oasis nestled on the sparkling sands of Fort Lauderdale, Florida's beach. Under pristine powder blue skies and fluffy snow white marshmallow clouds, we arrived to find a scene of vibrant colors and lively activity fueled by tropical beachside musical tunes of reggae and classical hit songs we grew up with. Colored umbrellas dotted the beach like a rainbow, while sailboats and water skiers glided across the shimmering Atlantic Ocean. Indoors, the music of a talented keyboard musician filled the air, and couples and groups of friends danced to the Summer hit tunes of their youth. The atmosphere was electric, with strangers bonding through joy and laughter. Stories were shared, friendships were forged, and social bonds were strengthened. Even our furry friends were welcomed, with pet owners and friends alike sharing tasty treats and chilled water for their adorable pets. The food and drinks at Aruba Beach Café were simply scrumptious. We feasted on a delectable variety of seafood, salads, burgers, and sandwiches, each accompanied by mouth-watering side orders. Our taste buds danced with delight as we savored the flavors of frozen fruit daiquiris, pina coladas, flavored martinis, and chilled wines. As the Sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the beach, we reflected on a truly amazing "Sunday Funday."
