Ingredients : Cooked chicken chestnut mushrooms/any variety mushrooms diced onions (white) green peas diced/fair cut carrots chicken stock garlic Flour double/single cream pastry Egg Step 1 Butter (salted/unsalted) to the hot pan, sauté all the vegetables one by one for at least 10min . Once saluted well add 1 teaspoon of the floor and mix well, cook until the flour is stuck to the veg well and turning to a golden brown color. Then add the fresh cream about 100ml i used here then stir well. once all mixed well its important the mixture to cool down so set aside. Step 2 I have made some pastry and kept refrigerated so im using it now. Spread the pastry and make a bottom layer fixed firmly but not hard to the bottom of the baking pan. Add the pre prepared chicken mixture evenly to the pan and cover with another sheet of pastry. stick both the pastry together initially with fingers and later with a fork. step 3 Make a cut or a few cuts on the top of pastry to allow the steam to escape when baking. Brush a full beaten egg on to the top of pie to get some golden brown colour when baking. Step 4 Bake it on a pre heated Owen on 180 degree celcious for at least 15-20min .You can use an aluminium foil sheet with the middle open on to the top of the pie to prevent the pie getting burned on the crusty edges.
