Edgar Allan Poe's The Pit and the Pendulum | Vincent Price stars in the 1957 Suspense CBS radio play

Three years before his horror credentials were sealed starring in Roger Corman's 1960 adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Pit and the Pendulum, Vincent Price took the lead in a Suspense CBS radio adaptation. Produced and directed by William N. Robson, this was the third of four adaptations that went out on Suspense based on a script by mystery writer John Dixon Carr. It originally aired on 10 November 1957, and the cast included Ellen Morgan, Jay Novello, Ben Wright and John Hoyt.
