Homemade Chicken Pot Pie Dog Treats Recipe adapted from Doggie Dessert Chef and Wag the Dog UK 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1/2 cup chicken (cooked and shredded) 1/4 cup carrots (shredded) 1/2 cup green peas (cooked and mashed) 1/2 cup chicken broth (low or no sodium) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, chicken, carrots, peas, and chicken broth in a large mixing bowl. Mix until combined into a firm dough. Add a tablespoon of chicken broth at a time if dough is too dry. Roll out dough into 1/4 – 1/2 inch thick sheet. Using cookie cutters, cut out fun shapes and place on a cookie sheet. Poke holes in top to prevent bubbles. Bake in oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch. Cool and serve. Tip: If you don’t have cookie cutters, you can roll small sections of the dough into round balls to bake.
