나는 믿나이다 (Jesus! my Lord, my God, my all!) 가톨릭성가 1번 (연중) 작곡 : Albert Gereon Stein (1809 - 1881) 독일의 교회음악가 이자 신부였다 독일 퀠른에서 태어나 퀼른 교구의 사제가 되었고 퀼른 신학교에서 신학생들에게 음악을 지도하였다 영어작사 : Frederick William Faber (1814 - 1863) 영국의 저명한 교회음악가 이자 로마가톨릭 사제 대표작으로는 "Faith of Our Fathers"이 있다 이곡은 가톨릭 성가 1번에 실려있듯이 주님에 대한 믿음을 고백하는 대표적인 성가이다 따라서 영세를 받거나 처음 가톨릭에 입교하는 분들에 대한 축하의 노래로도 많이 불려진다 가톨릭성가에는 이곡의 작곡가가 독일출신 사제인 Albert Gereon Stein(1809-1881)로 기재되어 있으나 사실 이곡은 오래 전부터 구전으로 서구교회에서 많이 불려져 왔다 Albert Gereon Stein은 이곡을 정리하여 1826년 독일어로 편찬된 로마카톨릭 소성가집 (Romischkatholisches Gesangbuchlein)에 처음 작곡가로 이름이 소개되어 현재까지 공식적인 작곡가로 기록되어 있다 이곡의 영어 작사가는 영국의 성공회 신부였던 Frederick William Faber(1814-1863)이다 이곡은 지금도 많은 카롤릭 교회에서 불리우고 있다 가사 1 나는 굳게 믿나이다 진실하온 주님 말씀 성세 때에 드린 맹세 충실하게 지키리다 주께서 나를 택하여 교회로 부르시오니 진심 감사 하나이다 2 주의 계명 깊이 새겨, 바른길로 나가리다 주여 세상 풍파 중에 우리 보호하옵소서 하느님 백성 된 우리 주님께 의탁하오니 영원 상속 주옵소서 가사(영어) Jesus! my Lord, my God, my all!
