Paterson Celebrates 3 Kings Day

Saturday, January 6, 2024, Mayor Andre Sayegh will join Monsignor Eugene (Geno) Sylva and Los Hijos y Amigos de Colombia for a heartwarming celebration of 3 Kings Day, marked by a special toy giveaway to 200 youth with special needs. Three Kings Day, also known as Epiphany, is the final celebration with which the 12 days of Christmas end. It is believed that on this day, the three wise men — Melchior, Caspar, and Balthazar — presented baby Jesus with symbolic gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Many Christians, mainly in Spain and Latin America, celebrate this holiday. This annual event highlights the spirit of generosity and community, emphasizing the joy of giving back during this festive season.
