In 2018, Jail Time Records opened Africa's first recording studio inside a prison in Cameroon, known as "hell on earth." Co-founded by Dione Roach and Steve Happi, a former inmate, the studio gave prisoners a voice, hope, and purpose. What began with music sessions and art workshops has grown into a movement.
