Ash Wednesday Marks Start of Lenten Pilgrimage in the Diocese of Brooklyn

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the season of Lent, but in the Diocese of Brooklyn, it also kicks off a different kind of journey: a pilgrimage that will bring faithful to churches across Brooklyn and Queens, starting with the Cathedral Basilica of St. James in Downtown Brooklyn.
