This is purely to remember what Jesus Christ has done for us and it is something that everyone needs to see and recognize who God is and what sacrifice He has made for us by giving us His own life for our sins so that we do not have to perish in Hell, but so that we can have everlasting life with Jesus Christ in the New Jerusalem (Heaven) for eternity where there will be peace and happiness, no tears, pain or suffering ever again. The wages of sin is death. Jesus paid for our sins with His life. Jesus Christ is the only name by which men can and will be saved so long as they repent and put their whole faith in Jesus Christ. Just like how He loves us we need to love Him with all our Heart, Mind, Body and Soul. Jesus Christ is coming back sooner than you think and it is one more reason why you need to believe.
