Korean Beef Short Ribs | Delicious No-Effort Tender Braised Ribs | Galbi-Jjim | 갈비찜 1kg beef short ribs 1 korean pear, roughly cut 3 cloves garlic 10g ginger, roughly cut ½ large onion, roughly cut 150 carrot, cut 2cm thick pieces 150g radish, cut 2cm thick pieces 2 spring onion, cut 5cm ⅔ cup soy sauce 1 tbs mirin 1½ tbs rice syrup ¼ tsp salt 4 tsp sugar ½ tsp black pepper Vegetable oil Add pear, garlic, ginger, and onion to a blender and blend until smooth Transfer to a bowl and add soy sauce, mirin, rice syrup, salt, sugar, and black pepper and mix well Pour onto beef short ribs and mix well Allow to marinate for at least 30 mins In a pot, heat some vegetable oil to medium heat Add rib pieces one by one and fry until brown on all sides Pour in the remaining marinade and mix through Once the liquid starts bubbling, reduce to low medium heat and cook for 2½ hrs Add carrot and radish and mix through Cook for a further 30-45 mins until carrots are cooked through Add spring onion and stir through Serve immediately ------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on social media Instagram: Twitter: ------------------------------------------------------------- Credits Music: ------------------------------------------------------------- #koreanbeefribstew #koreanbeefshortribs #galbijjim
