Driving 400+ miles for a food festival

So, the van still isn't ready - still getting rust fixed (well sitting in the workshop of a guy who eventually might fix it... update coming soon) so instead we're driving the car to Devon for the weekend to go to a food festival. Is that a bit much? 420 miles round trip just to stuff our faces? We don't think so... This adventure happened thanks to Gareth - My cousin who runs NDMI a community interest company that films amazing projects in Devon. So as soon as he mentioned "food festival" we packed a bag and hit the road. A few massive shoutouts to the people we met on the day - and that made this an amazing adventure (and totally worth the 12+ hours in the car): Food for Thought (Devon) - It's an amazing project, and it's so important that we make sure everyone has a rounded understanding about food, from production to plate - https://devoncf.com/news/food-for-tho... 00:24 - The reason for the trip 00:41 - Gareth's van tour - Vauxhall Vivaro conversion 00:58 - Wagyu tomahawk on the BBQ 01:19 - Food festival morning 02:32 - Luchos - Baked goods - and first of many snacks 02:57 - Monty's Caribbean Kitchen - The full monty 03:54 - The Sipshed - Cocktails 04:03 - Nico's Creamery - Gelato like nothing we've ever tasted before 04:48 - Luchos' Cheese twists - Taste Those Tasty Treats! 05:05 - Exmoor Feasting Company Sausage Roll Tasting 06:07 - Milky Way Cake - and the final tasty treat Here's to Gareth for inviting us along- At NDMI - ndmi.org Monty's Carribean Kitchen (thanks for the special treatment Monty!) -   / montyscaribbeankitchen   Lucho Bakes -   / lucho.bakes   The Sip Shed -   / sipshed   Cornish Garlic Co -   / cornishgarlic   Crumb Coat Bakery -   / crumbcoatbakery_   The Exmoor Feasting Company -   / exmoor.feasting   And to everyone else - that we've forgotten to mention - Please let us know and we'll happily add you to the list.
