Should you lease if you drive a LOT of miles per year???
Have you ever heard of leasing a car for up to 30,000 miles per year? That's 90,000 miles in three years! You can do it, you just need to set it up properly. What's scary to me is driving that much and financing a car for a long term loan. You will end up owing more than the car is worth in a very short period of time. Here are some of the reasons to consider high mileage leasing and why: 1. Think long-term instead of today - focus on where you will end up versus what you get today. 2. Decide on your budget then fit items into that budget - not the other way around. Let me explain - Do NOT pick all options then try to make the budget work. 3. Don't forget WHY you are doing this. This is all about transferring the risk of major repairs to the manufacturer of the vehicle. That's what makes this work and makes this fun! Questions? Post them in the comments!
