Naughty Dog did not share a launch timeline for Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet but confirmed it has been working on the game since 2020. Set thousands of years in the future, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet puts players into the role of Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on a distant planet known as Sempiria. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is an action-adventure game set thousands of years in the future, in an alternate universe where advanced space travel existed by 1986. The bounty hunter Jordan A. Mun becomes stranded on the remote planet Sempiria while searching for the Fives Aces criminal syndicate. For over 600 years, Sempiria has been cut off from outside contact and no one has been able to leave it. In seeking to escape, Jordan fights hostile, blade-wielding robots. Following the reveal, Naughty Dog studio head Neil Druckmann, who also serves as game director for Intergalactic, said the game would be the studio's “wildest, most creative story yet.” Jordan will have to use all her skills and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave its orbit. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has been in development since 2020, with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross scoring a stellar soundtrack to accompany you on your adventure.
