제목 : 최선을 다해 땅끝까지 복음을 전하라 본문 : 사도행전 28장 25-31절(쉬운성경 / NIV) 25. 그들이 이처럼 의견이 갈린 채 헤어질 때에 바울이 한 마디 말을 남겼습니다. "성령께서 예언자 이사야를 통해 여러분의 조상에게 말씀하신 것은 진리입니다. 26. 이 백성에게 가서 말하여라. 너희가 듣기는 들어도 깨닫지 못하고 보기는 보아도 알지 못할 것이다. 27. 이 백성의 마음이 무디어졌고, 귀로는 듣지 못하며 눈은 감겼다. 이는 그들이 눈으로 보고 귀로 듣고 마음으로 깨닫고 내게 돌아와 고침을 받지 못하게 하려는 것이다.' 28. 그러므로 여러분은 하나님의 이 구원이 이방인들에게도 전파되었다는 것을 알아야 합니다. 그들은 들을 것입니다." 29. (없음) 30. 바울은 자기 셋집에서 꼬박 이 년을 지내면서 자기를 찾아오는 사람들을 다 맞이하였습니다. 31. 그는 담대하게, 그리고 아무런 방해도 받지 않고 하나님의 나라를 전하고 주 예수 그리스도에 관해 가르쳤습니다. 25. They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: 'The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your forefathers when he said through Isaiah the prophet: 26. " 'Go to this people and say, "You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving." 27. For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.' 28. "Therefore I want you to know that God's salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!" 29. (empty) 30. For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. 31.
