Pakistan's march of confrontation

The stage is set for a showdown between PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari, who returned late last night from his Tehran trip. Nawaz Sharif has dared the government to stop the "long march" to Islamabad. Declared by lawyers and supported by Sharif's PML-N, the March begins in a few hours from now in Karachi in defiance of the ban imposed by the government. The March has been called to demand the reinstatement of sacked Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikaar Chowdhury and other judges.
