Zacchaeus showed that he wanted to see Jesus, so Jesus glanced up, spotted him, and told him He had to stay with him. My dear friends, God wants us to understand that when someone actively seeks the Lord, He follows them until He locates them! He reaches out to people who are seeking Him in addition to voluntarily listening to those whose hearts are heavy. Even though, like Zacchaeus, they are outsiders in their world, he still does it. Everybody has to dedicate their life to Jesus at some point in their journey. It did not follow that Zacchaeus was saved at birth only because he was a Jew. Despite being the son of Abraham, he still required redemption. "Today salvation has come to this house because he too is a son of Abraham," Jesus informed him as a result. Luke 19:9 My dear family of Mother Mary’s Protection, Please join us in praying for individuals who feel undeserving of love, for those who have low self-esteem, and for those who have been taught they are nothing. Let us pray for ourselves so that when we get the chance, we can express words of love and encouragement that uplift others in the Lord.
