The Real Definition of a Sucker Punch
Learn Self-Defense: ► https://www.codereddefense.com/newsle... Here is the real definition of a sucker punch. Many videos all over the Internet try to give a proper definition for a sucker punch and show ways to avoid it. However, not all of them do justice to what it truly is and how it happens. The sucker punch is one of the most common attack that can happen in a street fight. The most common scenario with a sucker punch is an attacker coming at you with his backups on his two sides, and while he's verbally attacking you, one of his friends throws a punch at you when you least expect it. The video demonstrates the sucker punch, exactly as it could happen in any type of fight. While losing focus on the other attackers around your main attacker, that could cause you to be gravely injured from one of these punches. A sucker punch can even go as far as to knock you out. You can block all of your attacker's attempts of hurting you with your hands and defend yourself against him. However, the most important element to take into account in this type of scenario involving a sucker punch is awareness. You need to be aware not just of the opponent in front of you, but of the others that are around him, because they might just be as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than your main opponent. Having said that, here is how you can be more aware of your other opponents: • Look at their body language and stance; • Be aware of all movement they do, especially their hands; • Listen to what they say. Don't dismiss your other opponents if they appear small or quiet, because looks can be quite deceiving. Anyone can be dangerous, it does not matter what one looks like. The key in avoiding a sucker punch is awareness of your surroundings and other opponents. However, there is another trick that works in defending yourself in this type of situation. By moving around, you can have your opponents coming at you in a way that while the main one is still always in your face, the others are behind him trying to catch up. Since they will be straying in back of your main opponent, you can easily avoid getting sucker punched. There are other self defense strategies shown in this video, such as footwork and defense against multiple attackers. Code Red Defense newsletter: ► https://www.codereddefense.com/newsle...
