"Updating your device. I'll let you know when it's ready." My Echo dot 3 had this error lately and I really suffered to bring it back online. I felt like making this video to make it easier for you if this should happen to you. The solution is simple, don't sweat it, and don't waste your time trying to fix it. There is no other fix than letting the device update. Ensure you connect it to the right network and that internet is working, and leave it. 1h-2h 1-day-2days, whatever it takes. Let it update.
