IMPD: Shots fired at officers leads to police shooting on Indy's far east side
Two juveniles were shot and another juvenile was injured in a shooting involving IMPD officers in which police say one of the people in the suspect vehicle fired at officers first Saturday night on the far east side of Indianapolis. According to IMPD, around 10 p.m. on Feb. 21, the Violent Crimes Task Force and SWAT team were reportedly following a vehicle in the 10900 block of East 10th Street, near North German Church Road, believed to contain people involved in a "recent" shooting. A SWAT vehicle equipped with a grappler device attempted to stop the suspect vehicle along East 10th Street. That's when police say one of the people inside the suspect vehicle began shooting at officers. At least one IMPD officer reportedly returned fire. MORE: https://www.wthr.com/article/news/cri...
