
CHRISTMAS TREE PULL-APART BREAD (VEGAN) | Frey and Maria

This is a very easy holiday appetizer and the perfect comfort food! π If you've never tried making this, we suggest you do because it's so yummy! π CHRISTMAS TREE PULL-APART BREAD β¨ 1 cup high grade flour vegan mozzarella, cubed 1 1/2 tbsp. melted vegan butter 2 tbsp. apple sauce 2/3 cup warm water 2 tsp raw sugar 1 tbsp. coriander flakes 2 tbsp. coconut oil 2 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp instant active dried yeast 3/4 tsp salt Method In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, yeast, sugar and warm water. Knead for 3-5 minutes and form a round ball of dough. After that, cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes. Divide the dough in half, stretch and roll it into a rectangle. Cut into eleven equal pieces and place one mozzarella cheese cube (1/2 inch) in the center of each dough. You can make 22 balls and will be needing 22 pieces of vegan mozzarella cubes. Arrange dough balls in the shape of a Christmas tree. Brush the top with apple sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bake in the oven for 18 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius. Whisk together the melted vegan butter, garlic powder and coriander flakes. Brush the mixture on the risen bread. Top with chili flakes (optional), shredded vegan cheese and rosemary. Serve warm with vegan pesto or marinara dipping sauce. Enjoy! *Feel free to adjust the recipe measurements according to your preference. Enjoy! π VEGAN PICKLE PIZZA β¨ Pizza Crust Ingredients: 3/4 cup warm water 1 tsp active dried yeast 2 cups plain flour *1/2 tsp olive oil Toppings: 3 tbsp. melted vegan butter 1 tbsp. coriander flakes 1 tbsp. crushed garlic 3/4 cup shredded vegan cheese 1/2 to 3/4 cup sliced pickles (gherkins) salt and pepper to taste Method For the Pizza Crust: Dissolve the instant active dried yeast in warm water and set aside for 5-10 minutes. In a large mixing bowl, sift the plain flour in a large mixing bowl. Then add the yeast mixture and stir until well combined. Dust your surface with flour and cover the dough and let it sit for 10 minutes In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, yeast, sugar and warm water. Flatten the sweet potato dough to fill your baking tray (we use a 23 cm x 32 cm baking tray). Using a fork, poke holes all over the pizza crust. Fan bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius. Whisk together the melted vegan butter, garlic powder and coriander flakes. Brush the mixture on the risen bread. Top with chili flakes (optional), shredded vegan cheese and rosemary. Brush the mixture on your pizza crust. Add your shredded vegan cheese, top it with the sliced pickles and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bake for another 10-12 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
