Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell for more cozy, beginner-friendly recipes. ❤️ RECIPE: --Needed ingredients-- 5-vlb. bone-in beef short ribs, cut into 2" pieces 3- Tbsp. vegetable oil 2- medium yellow onions, chopped 2- medium carrots, peeled, chopped 2- celery stalks, chopped 3- Tbsp. all-purpose flour 1- Tbsp. tomato paste 1- 750-ml bottle dry red wine (preferably Cabernet Sauvignon) 8- sprigs freesh thyme 2- sprigs fresh rosemary 1- fresh or dried bay leaves 3- Table spoons minced garlic (or however much you desire) 4- cups low-sodium beef stock Use the seasonings you desire. I used paprika, slap ya mama, garlic powder, onion powder, beef bouillon and pepper --DIRECTIONS-- Preheat oven to 350°. Season short ribs to YOUR liking. Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high. Brown short ribs on all sides Transfer short ribs to a plate. Leave roughly 3 tablespoons of drippings in pan Add onions, carrots, and celery to pot and cook over medium-high heat Stir often and until vegetables have softened Add flour and tomato paste stirring constantly, until combined Stir in red wine, then add short ribs with any juices. Bring to a boil then lower heat to medium and simmer until wine is reduced by half, about 25 minutes. Add all herbs to pot along with garlic. Stir in stock. Bring to a boil, cover, and transfer to oven.
