Federal government 'didn't want to hear' about the concerns of HIV protein in vaccine
Flinders’ University Professor Nikolai Petrovsky says the concerns raised to the federal government and the department of health about the use of HIV proteins in the University of Queensland vaccine “fell on deaf ears”. “They really didn’t want to hear any of the issues that there may be with that vaccine,” he told Sky News host Sharri Markson. Mr Petrovsky said the governmental bodies later claimed they were aware the coronavirus vaccine would produce a false positive result to HIV. “If that was true, why did they even go forward with the clinical trials if they knew it was a significant issue?”
