Court documents reveal suspect's possible motive in deadly West Plains shooting
A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left one man dead last week near West Plains, just west of Spokane. On Tuesday, the Spokane County Sheriff's Office says detectives found probable cause to arrest 21-year-old William K. Baldwin and charge him with second-degree murder for allegedly shooting and killing a man on Monday, April 21. Baldwin appeared before a Spokane County judge on Wednesday and prosecutors allege that he shot his coworker, 24-year-old Hasani Vita, in the face and torso during an argument. Baldwin reportedly admitted to arguing with two of his coworkers on the bus, which continued as they walked onto the street. Court records show that Baldwin told officers Vita mentioned a local gang, so Baldwin took off his blue hoodie to fight Vita, but denied shooting him. MORE: https://www.krem.com/article/news/loc...
