The Church teaches us that the cross is not a sign of condemnation, but a sign of salvation. Through the cross, Christ revealed and gave us the depth of God’s love, which endures pain, forgives sin, and gives new life. As we extol the Holy Cross, we must remember that we are called to uphold the love, patience, and hope that flow from it in our own lives.
