Bus Driver Dies In School Bus Crash

By: Fox S.A. StaffA bus driver was killed and at least three students were injured after an S.A.I.S.D. bus hit another bus, crashed through a fence and stopped in front of a home. It happened  just after 6 a.m. on North Foster Road and Candlemeadow in East Bexar County.  Witnesses say the S.A.I.S.D. bus driver, Dolores Martinez, 63, was weaving in and out of traffic before hitting a Judson I.S.D. bus and crashing through a fence. Authorities are investigating what caused the crash, but suspect Martinez may have suffered a medical episode that took her life.  None of the children were seriously injured.
