Alleluia, alleluia. The Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the Gospel. R. Alleluia, alleluia. Gospel: Luke 9:1-6 Jesus summoned the Twelve and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And he said to them: “You should take nothing for the journey, neither staff, nor traveling bag, nor bread, nor money; and you should not have two tunics. And into whatever house you enter, stay there, and do not move away from there. And whoever will not receive you, upon departing from that city, shake off even the dust from your feet, as a testimony against them.” And going forth, they traveled around through the towns, evangelizing and healing everywhere. == Wednesday, September 25, 2024 - A moment with GOD through HIS WORD. Reflection: How can you better respond to Jesus' call to overcome spiritual challenges, seek healing, and share His message with others? Prayer: My all-powerful Lord, You have authority over evil, the power to heal and offer all the gifts of eternal salvation. Help me to be open to the ways that You desire to come to me. Please free me from the attacks of the evil one, bring healing and hope, and bring forth the abundance of Your glorious Kingdom in my life. Jesus, I trust in You.
