✨Psalm 34 is a Psalm of David. It is titled “Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.” David wrote this psalm while fleeing from Saul, in the midst of tribulation, teaching us that praising God is not about our circumstances, but about who God is- He is ALWAYS worthy of praise! ✨Psalm 34 invites us to praise the Lord at all times. Praise is not reserved only for good moments or seasons of blessings. It is more of a constant heart posture and a way of life- praise should constantly pour out from our heart, even during our trials. We praise God for who He is and magnify Him. Praise is not contingent on our circumstances, but it is a reflexion of the goodness and magnitude of God. In doing so, praise becomes a massive weapon, breaking spiritual chains and releasing God’s power. Choosing to genuinely praise God in the midst of our struggles ahows that we trust God will move on our behalf. It shifts our focus away from our current circumstances and onto the God we serve. No matter what you are going through, my brothers and sisters, call on the Lord and praise Him for who He is- He will deliver you. He is faithful and just. There is nothing too difficult for Him.
