A Night Prayer Before Bed - Lord, I place my faith and hope in You - An Evening Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, as the day comes to a close, I bow before You with a heart full of gratitude for Your presence in my life. Thank You for the many blessings You have given me today, and for the peace that comes from knowing You are always near. Lord, as I prepare to rest, I ask for Your protection through the night. Cover me with Your wings and guard my heart and mind from any worries or fears. Fill my thoughts with Your peace, and let Your love surround me, bringing comfort and rest to my soul. Father, I place my faith and hope in You, knowing that You are my refuge and strength. Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, I have been given the gift of salvation and the promise of eternal life. Let this truth anchor my soul tonight and every night, reminding me that no matter what I face, my hope is secure in Him. Strengthen my faith as I rest, and let the light of Jesus shine in my heart, filling me with peace and joy that surpass all understanding. Lord, I lift up my family and loved ones to You, asking that You watch over them as they sleep. Keep them safe, and grant them a restful night. May Your presence be felt in our home, bringing us closer to You and to one another. Forgive me, Lord, for any mistakes I’ve made today, and help me to learn and grow from them. As I lay down to sleep, I surrender all my cares and burdens to You, trusting that You will take care of everything. Thank Yo, Father, for Your unfailing love, Your mercy that renews each day, and for the hope that tomorrow will bring. As I rest tonight, may I find true peace in You, and wake up refreshed and ready to serve You in the new day. "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” (1 John 4:16)
