🧑‍🎨Artist note: 한글 문자인 이응은 넓은 하늘을 의미하며 보이지 않는 무한 영역의 미래와 우주라는 의미를 갖고 있습니다 본 작품은 한글 이응이 우주와 미래를 품는 모습을 은유적으로 형상화한 작품입니다 한글 이응의 우주라는 공간성과 미래라는 시간성의 함의를 확장하여 특별한 시간과 공간이 만나는 시공간, 카이로스로 형상화한 것입니다 저의 작업은 가장 발달된 매체로서의 관계가 하나로 연결되어져가는 이야기를 그립니다: 생명이 있는 것뿐만 아니라 사물 또한 단순한 물질로서의 개념을 넘어 살아 있는 것에 유기적으로 연결되어 진화해가는 매체로 바라봅니다 A Korean character, ieung, 'O' means wide sky and has the meaning of the future and universe of the invisible infinite realm This work is a metaphorical representation of the Korean language, ieung, embracing the universe and the future It expands the implications of the spatiality of the universe, and the temporality of the future, and symbolizes it as kairos, the space-time where special time and space meet My work paints RELATIONS as the most developed medium, connected as ONE: my work values not simply objects but things as a medium evolving with what is alive “all for one, one for all”
