Today's Gospel presents Jesus in deep prayer. It is above all the Evangelist Saint Luke who makes a point of emphasizing this custom of the Lord: He, although he saw the loving face of the Father, placed himself every day in the humble position of one who needs to pray, so that we, who truly need to pray to God, may never cease to do so.
