R/ - I will walk in the presence of the Lord in the land of the living. 2nd R : Jas. 2:14-18. Gosp. : Mk. 8:27-35. Message : WHO TRULY ARE YOU? BE AUTHENTIC AND NOT LIVE DOUBLE STANDARDS. Jesus asked his apostles what public opinion held about him and what the apostles themselves thought or knew him to be. His true identity is THE MESSIAH; THE SON OF GOD AND THE SUFFERING SERVANT OF GOD. Who are you? Do you know who you are and what identity of yourself do people have about you? We mostly spend our lives living fake and wearing masks. Putting up false impressions of ourselves. Living pretentious lives. Are you authentic? Are you real? Let us live true lives. Fr.
