The hidden gem: Bratislava (Slovakia vlog - Samsung Galaxy S9+ test)

Romanian version here:    • Destinația secretă pentru cunoscători...   For one 1 year wedding aniversary we went to Bratislava for one day. It turned out into a Slovakia vlog - Samsung Galaxy S9+ test We didn't intend to vlog, so we didin't take any of our video gear. No camera, no tripod, no gimbal, nothing. Once there, the beauty of the city made us to think it over, and because we have just got our new Samsung Galaxy S9+ we decided to make a vlogging test with this smartphone. Once and for all: Bratislava is the capital city of Slovakia, a land splitted from the former Czechoslovakia. Slovenia is a country of former Yugoslavia and has the capital city in Ljubljana. Bratislava is with a population of about 450,000, one of the smaller capitals of Europe. The germans call it Pressburg and the hungarians- Pozsony. Situated on the Danube river, it is the only national capital that borders two states-Slovakia ans Austria Bratislava's nicknames are :The Beauty on the Danube and Little Big City. In our oppinion it it a smaller, less crowded and slightly cheaper version of Prague, still with a unique charm and very nice people. Renowned for gorgeous and unexpensive food, good beer and beautiful girls, Slovakia is really a must-see for tourists travelling central Europe. Slovakia has the World’s highest number of castles and chateaux per capita. One can count 180 castles and 425 chateaux in a country with the entire population far smaller than the city of New York! The massive rectangular Bratislava castle is situated right where the Carpathian mountains begin. The location provides excellent views of Slovakia, Austria and, in clear weather, parts of Hungary. One of the 4 towers housed in the mid-1500s the crown jewels of Hungary. Today the castle houses exhibitions of the Slovak National Museum and also rooms of the Slovak parliament. The Galaxy S9+ is the ultimate photo&video toy under the smartphones. It's got two 12 MP rear cameras and one 8MP selfie front camera. The rear ones have got two aperture options to choose from: f/1.5 and f/2.4 . This means the cameras can adapt to different lighting conditions without losing sharpness. It can record vodeos in up to 4K resolution at 60fps. The S9 Plus has a new Super Slow-Motion mode that allows you to shoot video at 960fps at a 720P resolution. In fullHD the maximum frame rate is 240. In Pro mode you cand manually adjust quite all parametres, ISO, aperture and shutter speed. I just love the hyperlapsesis S9+ is doing in auto mode. Sadly they can be shot only in 1080p. Bottom line The S9 Plus is great if you want to take your phone photo/videography to the next level, and can be a backup camera for vlogging, especially attached to a gimbal. But from the quality, sadly it still can not be compared to a dedicated video camera. And Bratislava is a gorgeous destination for a weekend city break. Please like, comment, share and subscribe.
