German Justice Minister on Brexit Delay, European Elections
Apr.03 -- Katarina Barley, German Minister for Justice and Consumer Protection, said that European Union members were waiting on a proposal from the UK government before deciding on the length of another delay to Brexit. Barley also expressed optimism for her Social Democratic (SPD) party's performance in the upcoming European parliamentary elections and stood firm by her opposition to German arms sales to Saudi Arabia. She spoke on "Bloomberg Markets: European Open" on March 29.
