Carving with a big knife. . .it don't come easy!

Practicing bushcraft carving skills with a large Bolo knife. Generally, I do my carving with a 3" to 4" bladed knife. Even a 5" blade seems a bit large for my taste. Still, I think it is wise to practice with, and thus come to understand, the issues associated using a large knife in case you HAD to. remember, people all around the world use large Bolos and palm leaf type blades everyday for all their tasks, even small ones.
