The Blessed Virgin Mary wrapped Jesus in swaddling clothes, all of us absorbed in great love. Saint Joseph, on the other hand, was still asleep. Only when Our Lady placed Jesus in the manger did the divine light awaken Joseph, who joined her in prayer. After a while, I was left alone with the baby Jesus, who extended his little hands toward me, and I understood that I had to take him in my arms. Jesus placed his head on my heart and, with a profound gaze, made me understand that he was right next to my heart.
