Cleaning and Sterilising Caravan Water System

Not intended to be a 'how to' guide, but just to give a flavour of the kind of chores you're in for if you've got a 'vanlife' dream that you're chasing. (I actually quite enjoy it!) With the sun out and the thought of pitching the awning in a dreamy peaceful campsite driving you towards the next break, we should also celebrate the mundane! Safety first as I show a quick summary of me prepping the van for it’s first trip away this year. Got the van all plugged into the mains so the water pump works. Filling the fresh water tank with Puriclean, leaving for a couple of hours, running it through the taps, then flushing several more full tanks of clean water through it. Sanitised the grey waste tank and also cleaned the toilet cassette.\ A good couple of hours there. A chore, but quite satisfying.
