Taken from their album of the same name, this track is an absolute monster — and I’ve gotta say, I love it! 🔥 Now, full honesty — I’m not the strongest sweep picker (yet 😅), so instead of butchering the solo, I decided to throw in some of my own licks while still keeping the first sweep picking phrase, which is just too good to leave out. This cover definitely pushed me to start working on my sweep picking, because when it’s clean… it sounds insanely cool. 🎯 I also noticed some guitarists play Synyster Gates’ parts using legato or pull-offs — but I went full alternate picking on everything. Great workout for the picking hand and honestly a solid warm-up exercise if you're looking to improve stamina and precision!
