Influence Line Diagrams - Part 11 (UDL longer than span)
Rolling Loads and Influence Lines, as specified in the Structural Analysis syllabus of APJAKTU. The lecture tries to explain the procedure for analyzing the case of a simply supported beam subjected to a moving udl where the length of udl is longer than the span. The position and location of udl to obtain max -ve and max +ve shear force as well as the max bending moment at a section are explained with a practical illustration.
