I have so many student, particularly older students who truly HATE the C chord. It is the arch nemesis of most beginners because it's very hard to make this chord sound good in the beginner stages. So what I do with my student is we learn and easy C chord that can be used a little more readily in playing songs. My older students like it because this simple C chord only uses two fingers and it's way easier to play than the 3 fingered C chord. Try my 2 fingered C Chord if you hate the C Chord on guitar.
