CATHOLIC MEDITATION: 10 September, 2024. ⛪📖🖊️ 🟩 TUESDAY 🟩 23rd Week - Ordinary Time, Year B. 1st R : 1 Cor. 6:1-11. Resp. Psalm : Ps. 149. R/ - The Lord takes delight in his people. Gosp. : Lk. 6:12-19. Message : YOUR PRAYER MUST NOT BE ANSWERED AS YOU WANT. YET, GOD STILL HAS A GREAT PLAN FOR YOU. Not all prayers are answered as we want or prayed for even if we prayed for a whole year. Yet, God still works his marvels amidst our pains and disappointments. Jesus prayed all night and still chose Judas to be an apostle, a choice he may not have wished for, yet God used that situation for his good - every disappointment is a blessing. You may pray for success but failure comes. God can still write straight on crooked lines. See God's will working for your good even when what you prayed for is not what you get. Fr.
