In this video we have compared two types of Covid-19 Insurance. Corona Kavach and Corona Rakshak. These insurance policies are introduced by IRDA and available through 30 different insurance companies in India. The basic features of the policy are same across companies however the premium is dependent on the company you choose. Corona Kavach is an indemnity based plan and therefore actual expenses are covered. Corona Rakshak is a lump sum based policy and sum insured amount is transferred to bank account after patient is hospitalized for more than 72 hours.
