Strange Days– The song seems to find Morrison "pondering the state of the then emerging hippie youth culture and how they are perceived by mainstream or 'straight' society". 2. You’re Lost Little Girl – She is lost but Morrison thinks she knows just what to do. 3. Love Me Two Times – Written by guitarist Robby Krieger, It was edited to 2:37 and released as the 2nd single and reached #25 on the charts in the US. Manzarek played the final version on a harpsichord. 4. Unhappy Girl – This is a poem written by Jim Morrison about a girl, who is afraid to “swim in mystery” and is therefore unhappy with their lives. 5. Horse Latitudes – Spoken word piece by Morrison with the band providing incoherent noises as a backdrop. He speaks the lyrics, telling of a ship at sea forced to jettison the onboard horses to lighten its load, concerns what is known as the phenomenon concerning the Horse Latitudes. 6. Moonlight Drive –It was edited to a 2:16 length for the single B-side of "Love Me Two Times". Though a conventional blues arrangement, its defining feature was its slightly off-beat rhythm, and Krieger's 'Bottle-neck' guitar which creates an eerie sound. 7. People Are Strange – Single peaked at #12 position on U.S. chart. Written by Morrison and Krieger although credit was given to the Doors evenly. Was composed in early 1967 after Krieger and a depressed Morrison had walked to the top of Laurel Canyon. 8. My Eyes Have Seen You 9. I Can’t See Your Face In My Mind – The overall theme of the song would appear to be the end of a relationship. The singer is no longer interested in his lover. 10. When The Music’s Over – Was composed before they had a record contract, being performed in the summer of 1966 at the Whisky a Go Go in LA. Can be divided into 5 parts, where the 5th returns to the lyrics and theme of the first.
